UPDATE 2-Motorola to pay $25 mln over "round-trip" case

(Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said the case involved a "round-trip" of cash between Motorola, a supplier of television set-top boxes, and Adelphia, which used the money to falsify its earnings in 2000 and 2001.

Adelphia paid money to Motorola, which immediately returned it to Adelphia in the form of marketing support payments, the SEC said.
