Canadian Stocks Rise, Led by Research In Motion, Canadian National Rail

(Bloomberg) -- Canadian stocks rose to a record for a third straight day, led by Research In Motion Ltd., which gained the most in seven months after Goldman, Sachs & Co. said the company will benefit from new products, wider distribution and lower operating expenses.

Industrial companies advanced, paced by Canadian National Railway Co., which climbed to an all-time high after Morgan Stanley said that railroad shares may outperform the broader market this year. The Standard & Poor's/TSX Composite Index added 49.85, or 0.4 percent, to 13,915.36 in Toronto, exceeding yesterday's record.
