US SEC eyes easing small company capital raisings

(Reuters) - The proposals are not rules and the commission must still
vote to adopt the order after a public comment period.




Another measure would allow small businesses, those with a
public float under $75 million, to shorten the holding period
for restricted securities, which are acquired in unregistered,
private sales from an issuer or its affiliate.
