GLOBAL MARKETS-Dollar weak, no Sarkozy bounce for shares

(Reuters) - A local holiday in major market centre London was one part of the explanation, the long series of opinion polls showing Sarkozy comfortably ahead of his Socialist rival Segolene Royal another.

Sarkozy, who beat Royal in the second round of the election on Sunday, said in late April he thought the euro was too strong, but some analysts said his win might actually add to the euro's recent strength.
