UPDATE 1-Bill Gates fund reports 12.8 pct PlanetOut stake

(Reuters) - The Microsoft Corp. chairman's fund did not reveal
when it bought the shares or their price in the "passive"
filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Cascade also did not reveal the purposes behind the
transactions.




San Francisco, California-based PlanetOut, which went
public in 2004, maintains a number of Web sites serving the
lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. The sites
include Gay.com, PlanetOut.com, OUT&ABOUT Travel, Advocate.com,
Out.com, OutTraveler.com and HIVPlusMag.com

PG&E sets customer plan to offset carbon emissions

(Reuters) - Voluntary payment programs to offset carbon pollution are
spreading through the airline, computer, food, retail and other
industries.




Travelers on Continental Airlines , for example,
will be able to calculate the "carbon footprint" of their
itinerary and buy offsets online from nonprofit Sustainable
Travel International under a program starting this summer.

European Stocks Fall for Second Day, led by Ryanair, Air France, E.ON

(Bloomberg) -- European stocks declined for a second
day after Ryanair Holdings Plc, the region's biggest low-fare
carrier, said profit growth will slow and investors speculated
rising interest rates will damp profit growth.

Ryanair led the Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Travel & Leisure Index
to its biggest drop in almost three months. E.ON AG and BNP
Paribas SA paced a retreat by utilities and financial-services
companies, among the most sensitive to higher rates.
