(Reuters) - Intesa Sanpaolo said late on Wednesday it would offer to buy
40.3 percent from a group of shareholders including the Ente
CariFirenze foundation for 1.194 ordinary shares for every
CariFirenze share for a value of 2.13 billion euros.
It said it would then make a public offer to buy another 41.1
percent in cash at 6.73 euros per share for a total of 2.3 billion
euros.
