(Bloomberg) -- Gaz de France SA, the operator of
Europe's biggest natural-gas network, said a merger with Suez SA
would make ``industrial sense'' and should be pursued.
Progress on the merger of the two Paris-based utilities is
expected in the ``coming weeks and months,'' GDF Chief Executive
Officer Jean-Francois Cirelli said at the company's annual
shareholders meeting today.
