(Reuters) - The company also said it would cut 950 jobs in the United States and United Kingdom, extending a layoff program begun at the end of 2005 that had previously eliminated 5,600 positions.
The company reported first-quarter net income of $3.6 million, or 1 cent a share, compared with a year-earlier loss of $27.9 million, or 8 cents a share.
