Fannie Mae sells $3 bln new five-year notes

(Reuters) - The joint lead managers on the sale were Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers and YBS Securities.

Later on Wednesday, Fannie Mae will also sell $1.0 billion in benchmark notes in a reopening of an existing 10-year issue due May 11, 2917 via an Internet-based auction.
