(Reuters) - NEW YORK, April 25 - Diebold Inc. , a maker of automated teller machines, posted a first-quarter net loss on Wednesday as it took a restructuring charge related to the closing of a plant in France.
The North Canton, Ohio, company reported a net loss of $5.9 million, or 9 cents a share, compared with net income of $12.7 million, or 18 cents a share, a year earlier.
