(Reuters) - At 9:20 a.m. , the Canadian dollar was at
C$1.0424 to the U.S. dollar, or 95.93 U.S. cents, up from
C$1.0446 to the U.S. dollar, or 95.73 U.S. cents, at
Wednesday's close.
"One thing that's offsetting any weakness on the data side
is that oil prices are very, very firm," said David Watt,
senior currency strategist at RBC Capital Markets.
