(Reuters) - The Bovespa index of the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange
rose 0.39 percent to 54,730.44 points, after trading as high as
54,999.98 points earlier. It closed at a record high of
54,518.63 points on Friday.
The real , strengthened 0.37 percent to 1.905 per
U.S. dollar.
