(Reuters) - Penn West, Canada's No. 2 energy trust, said net income fell to C$96.3 million , or 41 Canadian cents per unit, from C$144.4 million, or 87 Canadian cents per unit, in the first quarter of 2006.
Penn West's first-quarter cash flow, used in part to pay monthly distributions to unitholders, was C$311 million, or C$1.31 per unit, compared with C$243 million, or C$1.49 per unit, a year earlier.
