(Reuters) - South African food retailer Spar Group Ltd posted a 28.5 percent rise in first-half headline earnings per share on Wednesday on strong consumer spending and further market penetration.
Headline EPS, the main profit measure in South Africa, rose to 156.3 cents for the six months to end-March from 121.7 cents in the same period the previous year.
