(Bloomberg) -- German electricity for 2008 climbed to its highest price this year, rising in line with emission allowances.
Next-year baseload power prices in Germany, Europe's biggest market, advanced for a third day. The contract rose 10 cents, or 0.2 percent, to 55.90 euros ($75.85) a megawatt-hour. The last time the contract closed higher was on Dec. 29, according to broker GFI Group Inc.
